Pacific States Felt & MFG. Co., Inc. was contacted by an underground utility industry client to die cut 500 EPDM foam housing gaskets. After custom manufacturing tooling for the project, we thru cut the EPDM foam with a travel head die cutter. We were able to hold tightest tolerances of ±.010″ throughout the cutting process, and each of the completed foam housing gaskets measured 7.50″ long, 5.35″ wide, and .062″ thick. After inspection, the gaskets were shipped to the client’s Santa Clara, California location.
